The phrase “oh, snap!” is so applicable to so many emotions that I use it at least three times a day. So I was already interested in hearing Suai’s new single, “Oh, Snap,” based on the title alone. And her “oh, snap!” is one of those friendship situations that everyone’s been in that is one of the suckiest things that have ever sucked. Snap.

Sale on your favorite pair of shoes? Awwww, snap! Forget an important meeting at work? “Oh snap – I’m late!” Ever fall in love with a friend, or have a friend reveal that he/she is in love with you, except instead of it ending in a happy TV way (marriage or some such), everything just gets completely fucked up and you wish emotions had never gotten involved? That’s right – aww, snap. Everything sucks. This song is quickly growing on me.
