Game 6 of the Bulls-Celtics series needed four hours (and three hours) to be decided.  Thank god this wasn’t a baseball game.  Ever watch some 13-inning 1-1 contest?  Drama, my ass.

As for the Celts and Bulls, it’s hard to pick sides since the series has been well-played by both.  But more interesting has been the diviseness of Celtics G Rajon Rondo’s on-court actions.  In terms of production, dude’s been incredible, averaging a triple double for the series (21, 10, and 11).  But if he keeps up the extra douchebaggery — bitchslapping C Brad Miller in Game 5 and tossing/shoving PG Kirk Hinrich in Game 6 — it’s gonna be hard to root for him and Boston.  A competitive spirit is understandable, but keep it MJ-status and avoid A-Rodian levels of classlessness, please.

So, the fate of Saturday’s Game 7 rests upon the ability of the Baby Bulls to handle the pressure when the stakes are this high, but with standouts Kirk Hinrich, Ben Gordon, and Derrick Rose all playing in Final Fours in college, it shouldn’t be farfetched to believe they can’t keep it together.

Interestingly though, the man the trio have all been forced to guard at some point — Rondo again — didn’t play many big games in college, yet he managed to be the difference (along with Paul Pierce, of course) in the Celtics-Lakers final last year.

Basically, as with every other game in this series, it’s a toss-up — and will probably head into overtime, again.

The only other game left to be played in the first round involves the Hawks and Heat but no one really cares, except for maybe Hawks fans because they never accomplish anything.  The Heat will take the series if always-ailing Dwayne Wade goes to Koreatown for a mean back massage prior to the game — but that obviously depends on whether or not there is a Koreatown in Miami.

So when do the Cavs play?
