Torche: Meanderthal (Hydra Head)

Not a metal fan? Not a problem. This Miami group made the perfect album to pop your extreme-music cherry. Like a much, much harder version of the Foo Fighters, Torche douses its finest guitar-shredded moments in sing-along-able arena melodies without losing any of its gnarly brutality. Recommended for anyone who wishes Walter Schreifels would quit fucking around with Rival Schools and reunite Quicksand already.
