Not only did the late Robert Kardashian get The Juice acquitted, he also spawned some of the most talked about celebrity sisters of the last decade. But with the more famous of the siblings – Kim – releasing and a workout video and calendar and rumors flying around linking Khloe to rapper Young Jeezy, we set out so see how just how the Kardashian sisters compared to one another.
And just to round it out, we brought their secret weapon, Kourtney, into the mix.
Kim Kardashian
Claim to Fame: Paris Hilton’s former BFF became an overnight sensation when a sex-tape of her and (then boyfriend), Ray-J, hit the Internet. Released later as Kim Kardashian: Superstar, she became one of the most talked about socialites in the young LA scene. Currently dating pro-athlete Reggie Bush, Kim’s been applauded through a variety of circles for her, assets. She’s also the main focal point for the E! reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
Hits: Kim Kardashian is enterprising, to say the least. While most know her for her “body” of work, she is also a successful business owner (along with her sisters, she owns and operates her clothing store Dash in California), has released a workout DVD called Workout with Kim Kardashian, and is currently working on her own signature fragrance.
Misses. She had a sex-tape with Brandy’s little brother. You can’t miss much harder than that.
Kourtney
Claim to fame: Keeping up with the Kardashians isn’t Kourtney’s first foray into reality TV. In 2005, the eldest Kardashian sister was a participant on the E! reality show Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive. Less visible than her sisters, Kourtney is also heavily involved with her mother’s children’s boutique, Smooch.
Hits: Kourtney holds a degree from the University of Arizona. Kourtney’s also the sister who actually put the Kardashian name on the reality TV show map, as she was the first one to ever appear on a show, the aforementioned Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive.
Misses: Her stint on Filthy Rich: Cattle Drive painted her to be a spoiled LA brat. But that’s only if you believe that the daughter of the guy who got OJ Simpson acquitted for murder could be capable of such a thing. Which, we’re sure she is.
Khloe
Claim to Fame: Second in terms of visibility to Kim, Khloe Kardashian has struck out in her own since entering the TV world. Aside from her reality TV show work and running Dash, rumors are also circuiting that she is currently dating rappers Young Jeezy and Jay-Z.
Hits: Khloe’s personality has actually made her a standout in the family reality TV show, often times surpassing her more famous sister Kim. She is also currently starring in this season of The Celebrity Apprentice and has modeled for PETA. She also has a substantial following online and has been applauded for promoting a body type that’s the opposite of the rail thin image that’s prominent in LA.
Misses: Khloe was arrested for DUI in 2007. She was sentenced to a 30-day bid but only did three hours due to “prison overcrowding.”
Winner: Kourtney
Kim and Khloe may be in the spotlight more, but it’s usually because of something negative or controversial. Kourtney, on the other hand, has not only been the first Kardashian since her late father to get the family name in the spotlight, but also has been the one to keep it consistently the cleanest.
And she looks fly doing it too.
