Hancock

The market got a bit oversaturated with Hancock ads in the two weeks or so before its release, but when the trailer first hit screens in the early part of the year, folks were intrigued by the idea of seeing Will Smith cast as a Bizarro version of Superman.  Plus, that final money shot with Hancock tossing the beached whale back into the ocean only to have it capsize a sailboat provided endless laughs.
