This Weekes’ Best: Graduation Season

IT’S GRADUATION SEASON!

Some of your favorite folks recently gave commencement speeches that gave encouragement and inspiration for those ready to soar.

I was down in ATL this past weekend celebrating my brother’s graduation at Morehouse College. Actress Cicely Tyson passionately recited Langston Hughes’ famous “Mother to Son” poem as Henry Louis Gates gave an excellent commencement speech, and Hank Aaron received an Honorary Degree.
