Internet really did kill the television star. Since you can now get your TMZ on TV and frat-boy antics on the tube via MTV’s The College Humor Show (based on the online phenomenon CollegeHumor.com), it’s just a matter of time before your favorite sites become syndicated programming. But why wait! Here are the URLs that Channel Zero would love to see make the move from desktop PC to living-room flat-screen.

NewMusicCartel.com:

This collective of Internet tastemakers have crated an innovative way of breaking the latest hip-hop songs and raking in traffic. With them on programming duties, they could make the M in MTV stand for “Music” again.

ThisIs50.com:

His beef with Rick Ross may have gone stale, but Curtis will live on in comedy’s badlands with his unique brand of humor, which brings millions of viewers to his site every month. If anything, a televised 50 Cent comedy series would make us forget all about the failed exploits of The Money and The Power.

ItsTheReal.com:

Self-aware white boys in hip-hop don’t come around too often, but Eric and Jeff have great comedic timing and could do for hip-hop what Jon Stewart has done for politics. With everyone from Gym Class Heroes’ Travis to former Byrd Gang member Max B (and Nick Cannon) making cameos on their webisodes, it’s only a little while before these two are landing daily episodes on Comedy Central.

DallasPenn.com:

The unofficial mayor of Brooklyn, New York, Penn has hipped newcomers to First Saturdays at the Brooklyn Museum, the “ghetto Big Mac” burger and brought the Internet to Sundance through his site. With an economic recession in full effect, Penn’s just the Internet Celebrity to keep viewers up to speed on what’s going on in the E-streets.

TheYBF.com:

Move over, Joan Rivers — Natasha Eubanks has the gossip world in a chokehold. Spreading “fabulousness and foolywang” antics since 2005, TheYBF.com (“YBF” stands for Young, Black and Fabulous) offers better content and an eye-pleasing alternative to Ryan Seacrest’s coiffed and gelled mop.

[...] Off jump, you bring back Big Tigger, because frankly son was out-rapping some of the rappers. I wanna see him and these new cats go a few rounds on the mic [pause]. Mixed some HD with some nicely placed beats and you can maybe begin to push some real music stuff on BET. It’s either that or we begin to make those pitches for those new TV shows I was talking about back in April. [...]
