Kanye West could be taking a vacation from the music scene – but not one that involves sandy beaches and pretty girls.
The rapper and his manager Don C. were both charged with misdemeanors yesterday (March 18) by Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. The charges stem from an incident on September 11, 2008 at the American Airlines terminal in Los Angeles International Airport where the pair smashed the camera of TMZ.com photographer (watch the video below).
West was charged with one count of vandalism, battery and grand theft. Don C. was charged with two counts of vandalism, battery and grand theft.
If convicted, West could be sentenced to up to two and a half years. Don C. could receive up to five years.
The two are scheduled for arraignment in Los Angeles on April 14.
