Further proving that entertainment influences technology, last night CNN’s Anderson Cooper had an interview with a holographic version of will.i.am to discuss the rapper’s support of President-Elect Obama.

The scenario was reminiscent the communication seen in the Star Wars films. This of course begs the question, if we can create holographic communications, does that means we’ll have real light-sabers in the near future?
