GIANT Remembers The Notorious B.I.G.

Today, March 9, 2009 marks the 12 year anniversary of the death of Christopher Wallace a.k.a. The Notorious B.I.G. aka Biggie Smalls.

The rapper was gunned down in Los Angeles after leaving an awards show in 1997. His murder remains unsolved to this day.

Regarded as one of the best rappers to ever do it, Smalls was a an inspiration to many of today’s most prolific MCs including his Brooklyn affiliate Jay-Z.

GIANT remembers The Notorious B.I.G. today and mourns his death but also celebrates his life. Like the saying goes, we’ll always love Big Poppa. Check out some of our favorite Biggie classics below.
