Mike Tyson sits down for his first authorized career retrospective.

Although he’s been in the public eye for two decades now, former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson remains an enigma.  Is he genuinely crazy or just a lost, confused soul?  Was the famous ear-biting stunt an accident or intentional?  And what the heck is up with those tatoos anyway?  Until now, Tyson has resisted providing the world with an official biography, which has left the market free for plenty of unauthorized tell-alls.  Enter Tyson’s friend, director James Toback, who convinced the retired boxer to tell his story in his own words on camera.  A hit at the Cannes Film Festival, where it premiered last year, the movie arrives on American screens in April (look for a review in GIANT’s May issue).  In the meantime, this teaser provides you with a sneak peek of what to expect from Tyson.
