These electric guitars go up to 11

What do you get when you put Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White on a soundstage and hand them three electric guitars?  A foot-stomping, hand-clapping, lighter-waving jam session of course!  The upcoming documentary It Might Get Loud examines the respective backgrounds of these three music icons, from their first introduction to the electric guitar to recording the albums that launched their careers.  But the film’s highlight will undoubtedly be the “music summit” where the trio shoots the shit about their favorite chords and the songs that inspired them.  Directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth), It MIght Get Loud will hit theaters on August 14.
