Wolvie’s back!  And he’s bringing Ryan Reynolds with him.

Of all the new summer movie trailers that will be attached to Watchmen when it debuts in theaters tomorrow, none will be scrutinized more closely than this third and final trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  By now, the geek community is well-aware of the problems that have plagued the film’s shoot, from repeated studio interference to last minute re-shoots.  It’s hard to imagine how you could possibly screw-up a solo Wolverine film, but hey, we all expected X-Men: The Last Stand to be decent too, right?  Large chunks of footage from this trailer have been seen in earlier versions, but there’s a ton of new stuff, including our first glimpse of will.i.am’s character John Wraith, more extensive looks at Gambit (Taylor Kitsch) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) in action and a brief shot of a kid with optic blasts who may just grow up to be the Cyclops we know from the first X-Men trilogy.  Let’s all cross our fingers and hope that this movie turns out well.
