Trailer of the Week 2: Fame

Fame‘s gonna live forever!

It’s been almost 20 years since Fame danced its way into movie theaters and quickly became a teen movie classic. Since then, a whole franchise has grown up around this one movie that includes a short-lived TV series, a short-lived reality series and now a contemporary remake with a hip-hop edge standing in for ’80s pop. Once again, a cast of fresh-faced newcomers, including Naturi Naughton (Lil’ Kim from Notorious), Anna Maria Perez de Tagle and Collins Pennie portray students at the New York Academy of Performing Arts who are working hard to achieve their dreams of stardom. Kelsey Grammer, Megan Mullally and Charles S. Dutton make up the film’s adult cast. Look for the movie–and tons of related merchandise–on September 25.
