These few celeb’s are eye candy for sure, but they all have a rare mysterious cases of mosquito bite-itis, bee sting disorder and little-boy syndrome. Sadly, the only cure is silicone.

There is no question that Beyonce reigns supreme in terms of female performers and it seems some of  the confidence that reserves her the top spot can be credited to her alter ego. So in the spirit of naming part of your personality, we decided it would be fun to review some exisiting alter egos and create a few new ones.

1. Beyonce
Alias: Sasha Fierce

Fierce pronounced Fierrrrrccceee (add a snap for good measure)  means furiously active or determined. There is no better way to describe Bey for all the hard work she puts in. Shasha sure knows how to work it and in case you forget, check the surname to be reminded of the FIRE that goes along with the FIERCE.

2. Bow Wow
Alias : Lamborghini Bow

If you have a GIANT question mark on your forehead you are not alone. When Chris Brown decided to start calling himself Lamborghini Brezzy, Mr. Wow, joined the Lambo club car frenzy and decided to follow suite. Thank goodness this never really caught on. Although, the speed racer thing might not be a bad look for Bow Wow. Since he is signed to young money and Drake is always talking about Phantoms, maybe they will sponsor car shows as a side hustle and Cam’ron can swing by with his mobile car wash to make sure the merchandise is nice and shiny.

3. Mary J Bleig
Alias: Brook-Lyn

Apparently MJB had an alter ego long before Ms. Fierce. Back in the day when Mary wanted to turn her swag on she called on her alias Brook-lyn (not to be confused with the borough).  Brook-lyn is not only cocky, but she’s multi talented because this ego raps too. I’d like to see Brook-lyn have a rap battle with Lil’ Kim and find out who holds it down the best for BK. My money might be on Mary.

4. Keri Hilson
Alias: Regulator

Miss Keri bay -bay has earned herself the title of regulator. Not only is she one of the hottest artists out there but like her buddy Kanye, she has no problem speaking her mind and correcting other ladies in the game that think they are the only ones running things. From remixes calling out two female artists in particular, to tweets telling Lil mama she needs to STFD , this ATL shawty don’t play. In case you didn’t know Keri “Regulator” Hilson will most definitely  let you know if you’re “turning her off”.

5. Ryan Leslie
Alias: Prez Les

This guy might give Obama a run for his money. Ryan Les for Prez is something this multifaceted artist often says at the beginning of his tracks and for good reason. From Harvard to the studio, he’s  got politician written all over him. He was persuasive enough to skip his senior year of high school and gain acceptance to the current president’s law school alma marter and this smooth talker has used his gifts to win the public over via his musical selections. He can even play the sympathy card for voters by being the victim of a heart breaking scandal that involves a hot younger woman and Mr. Diddy himself. If you believe in the Amazing Music Political party you should vote Ryan “Prez Les” Leslie.

6. Lil Wayne
Alias: The Pharmacist

If  Wayne ever decides to hang up the mic he’s got a promising career in pharmaceuticals. Thanks to his verse on the “Knuck if you buck” remix we know that he has an assortment of goods for your convenience such as ” that tussin, that scummy and that A dust, so pick your high, he will s-u-p-p-l-y and correct change is whats up” . Even though he didn’t manage to finish up his studies at the University of Houston I’m sure with his skill he could earn himself an honorary doctorate. I suggest any one in the music game that suspects they are going to catch cold should avoid the hospital and call this guy, because he is sure to have a remedy to relax your mind. SMH.

7. Kanye West
Alias: Dr. J/Mr. Hyde

Poor Kanye just can’t pick a side. Sometimes he’s friendly as can be and other times he’s taking away people’s awards (I wonder if his kryptonite  is Henesy?). But it must be hard battling two personalities. One thing is for sure, no matter which Kanye you get, they are both uber talented and full of surprises. Kanye is like a weekend special, you get two for one, and in this recession who are we to argue with a bargain?

8. 50 cent
Alias: Fireman

The roof the roof is on FIRE! No worries, Just call ya boy 50. Since he’s not busy beefing with Game anymore and seems to have some personal experience with flames what better way to give back to the community than by putting out some scorchers with all that formula 50 vitamin water? Sounds like a win-win to me. The burn sights would have a nice grape smell and he could recycle the bottles after. 50 this is your chance to go green, and since you already have enough paper in your pocket it shouldn’t be problem.

9. John Legend
Alias: Professor

It seems that this legend could teach us a thing or two besides how to break up and make up over and over and over again. He has been know to profess the essence of non-committal relationships in such a convincing  way that it would make you be proud to check the “its complicated box on your facebook” for him. Before his voice was being used as a sound track to Gap commercials and we were reminded that “we’re just Ordinary people”, John “Professor” Legend was at the University of Pennsylvania studying English Literate, no wonder he has such a way with words.

10. Usher
Alias: Lion Tamer

After Usher let the world know it was “my way” or the highway he has been breaking hearts ever since. In spite of the neon skullies, Usher is real ladies man. So much so that he was able to use his moves to lock down several older women like Chilli, Naiomi Camble and Tamika. Its clear that even though Mr. Moving Mountains could have his fair share of good looking younger ladies, he prefers the cougar crowd. In the world of celebrity dating, its a circus out there and since Usher is a pro his experience has earned him the title of Lion Tamer.

Normally being two faced is a bad thing, but for these celebs its an asset. There are many perks that come with fame and having two personalities is just another thing to add to the list. When you’re famous you can promote yourself as two people and no one will think you are crazy, they will applaud your genius. So my hats off to anyone who can convince millions of people that it is normal and even cool to be two people at the same time. Now thats talent.

She has turned us on with her model looks and head turning style. This georgia peach is more than just a southern bell, but a rising hip-hop style icon in her own way.

Battle of the Soulful Songstresses: Chrisette Michele vs. Jazmine Sullivan 

Both sexy ladies are powerhouses in the vocal department, but with Chrisette’s jazz and funk combination and Jazmine’s raspy range this neck-and-neck competition is one to be reckoned with. 

Chrisette Michele: The New York native Epiphany woman has been in the business singing her heart out for some time making features on hip-hop classic albums such as LAX (The Game) and Kingdom Come (Jay-Z). With heartthrobs such as Drake and Pooch Hall making appearances in her videos, it’s clear the heartfilled bombshell has made a name for herself. 

Jazmine Sullivan: Often compared to Lauryn Hill for her earthy tone and use of reggae-infused music, Jazmine took the world by storm proving how Fearless she was by threatening to “Bust the Windows” out of some guy’s car. 

Champ: Chrisette Michele. Jazmine’s lyrics may appeal to hood chicks and psycho exes a mass audience, but it doesn’t hold weight to the Grammy winner’s soulful sound and inspiring voice. 

Battle of the Emo Proteges: Kid Cudi vs. Drake

Spitting conscious rap with an eccentric flow is how these two rappers have created a lane of their own. With mentors such as Kanye and Lil’ Wayne, both rappers are bound to dominate.

Kid Cudi: Weighing in as Kanye’s newest protege of G.O.O.D. Music, this martian has had the airwaves buzzing with hits such as “Make Her Say” and “Day ‘N’ Nite.” On his upcoming album Man on the Moon: End of Day, scheduled to be released September 15th, Cudi plans to take his fans beyond this galaxy. 

Drake: From performing at the BET awards, canoodling with style mavens such as Rihanna and Teyana Taylor and making headlines off the success of his mixtape So Far Gone, there’s no doubt that Drake has the public’s attention. But is his buzz bigger than his bite?

Champ: Drake. Who knows if Drake is over-hyped, but with the entertainment industry at his beckon call we know for sure he has the ball in his court. 

Battle of the Singers With Swag: Keri Hilson vs. Rihanna

These style mavens are not only fashionistas in Hollywood but are also making a killing in the industry with their undeniable charisma. 

Keri Hilson: The “fly as hell, swagga right, brown skin poppin” diva has been writing in the shadows for some of your favorite artists but has finally decided to shine in the light solo. Touring off of buzz created from In A Perfect World, the Georgia Peach not only has sex appeal, but knows what to do, both, in the booth and out of the booth.

Rihanna: She’s no Whitney Houston, but your girl knows how to drum out a banger. With her feature on “Run This Town” with Kanye and Jay, we wonder what this bad girl has in store for her next album. She may not have the raw talent, but Rih has that unexplainable “It” factor that draws a crowd.

Champ: Keri Hilson. Rihanna may have Jay and the style game in her back pocket, but nothing compares to Keri’s knowledge and experience in the game..

 Battle of the Seductive Crooners: Trey Songz vs. Mario

They may not pop lock like Chris Brown but they have the grown and sexy seduction game on lock. 

Trey Songz: In the land before braids, there was doubt that Trey could be the sexy seducer that he is today, but instead of showing up, he’s shown out. Beasting remixes and making appearances on tracks, Trey has managed to stay relevant, without being over-exposed.

Mario: Mario has had a rollercoaster of success in the industry, with hi’s and lo’s, and hits and misses. Though underrated, Mario consistently proves that he has the talent to stay in the game.

Champ: Trey. He’s on his grind and has moved up into the bigger leagues, taking jabs at R&B heavyweights like R. Kelly. Give this crooner three years and he’ll be dominating both chicks and charts.

Last night, BET and Grey Goose Entertainment celebrated the premiere of their latest joint venture, “Rising Icons.” The television series, sponsored by the high-end vodka brand, will highlight the careers of artists believed to be well on their way to stardom and deserved idolatry. Each 30-minute episode will chronicle the lives of the emerging entertainers on stage, as well as on the road, and feature behind-the-scenes footage. The selected few are the multi-talented singers, songwriters, producers, and rappers Chrisette Michelle – whose episode aired last night - Keri Hilson, Melanie Fiona, Ryan Leslie, Hal Linton, The Dream, Kid Cudi, and Wale.

Keri Hilson waited a long time for her album to see the light of day, but a #1 debut probably helps ease that frustration a bit. The singer/songwriter closed her first week in stores with 94,500 albums sold, which gave her the number one slot on the Hip-Hop/R&B charts and the number 4 spot on the Top Albums chart. Though these numbers aren’t jaw-dropping, they are fairly strong for a new artist in our current economic climate.

In a Perfect World‘s success can be largely attributed to her two hit singles: “Turnin’ Me On,” featuring a stellar sixteen from Lil Wayne, and “Knock You Down” featuring Kanye West and NeYo. We expect Keri Hilson’s star to continue to rise.

For his I Am Music tour, Lil’ Wayne made a stop at the Gibson Amphitheatre in California this past weekend. Though the Gym Class Heroes, Gorilla Zoe, and T-Pain are all listed on the bill as well, it was Keri Hilson, fresh off a cycle of debut album release parties, who stole the show. During a performance of the duo’s hit single, “Turnin’ Me On,” the two engaged in some PDA more appropriate for a bedroom. A mere 10 seconds into it, the two dip it low while dancing, and once the song ends (at the 2:40 mark), Hilson takes a breather to announce a personal confession: that the MC is doing to her just what the song title claims. Quoting a line from the track, she applauds Wayne for knowing how to “recognize a real woman.” She then turns around, clad in yellow tights, and gives the audience a good look at her backside. Afterwards, she stands behind the rapper, reaching over his shoulder and lifting up his shirt, to proclaim to the audience: “Ain’t a damn thing lil’ about this Wayne.” Booty tap’s and affectionate name-calling ensue.

The Rose Experience

Call it the year of the comeback. With Ginuwine and Maxwell already on working on their respective albums, Case rounds out the R&B singers ducking full blown retirement with an album that may draw older fans in, but won’t garner him any new followers. Being out of the game for seven years can put a damper on an artist’s evolution and with the early 2000s dated production, such is the “case” with The Rose Experience.

Jim Jones’ latest studio album is exactly what you’d expect it be: A hodgepodge of braggadocio rap, unintentional comedy and monster production. Jim may not be the best rapper (in fact, he’s far from it) but his ear and ability to pick beats and highlight up-and-coming producers is second to none. If anything,Pray IV Reign is worth picking up just to hear the beats that’ll be on upcoming mixtapes.

NEWS ALERT***FROM JOBLESS TO TOPLESS

With the crummy job market, it seems that more women are being prompt to dance in strip clubs, appear in adult movies or pose for scantily clad magazines.  Rebecca Brown a  bartender in Chicago was making a couple thousand dollars a week at a national restaurant and is now making that much a night at Chi-town’s Pink Monkey gentleman’s club.  It’s the flexible hours and the fast cash that seem to be the major attraction as most of these women have college degrees and held white-collar jobs until the economy started to go sour.  This passed weekend Providence, Rhode Island’s Foxy Lady held a job fair seeking dancers, masseuses, bartenders and bouncers.  The owner mentioned that slashing prices has assisted in regaining the club’s business which is now forcing them to hire more emplyees.

It’s certainly not an easy transition wearing 5inch heels and learning to dance just to ‘make it rain’, but it’s a living.

In Springfield, Illinois about 1,400 specialty license plates have been made featuring Pres. Obama.  Selling for $50, the plates have raised $50,000 for the Illinois Library Association (a 2010 summer program).  Reading  “Illinois Salutes President Barack Obama” you can get yours now until April 17th.  After that, they can be purchased for collector items.

Although, some may look at women dancing at strip clubs as an act of sheer folly, none of us are really in any place to judge.

With Barack Obama as the fresh face leading the charge in Washington, the same can be said about Keri Hilson and her foray into the R&B world. Currently starring alongside Lil Wayne, T-Pain, and Gym Class Heroes on the “I Am Music” tour, Ms. Hilson sat down with GIANT to discuss the inauguration of our new president.

GIANT:  What does Obama’s presidency mean to you?

Keri Hilson:  It means a lot, it really does stand for hope. I remember being a kid in elementary school and there was always some black kid who was really studious, made great grades, and would probably be qualified to be the future President of the United States. But the teacher would say, “What do you wanna be when you grow up?” and he would say, “I wanna be the President.” The teacher and the students—the whole class—would be uproariously laughing. I guess I didn’t think much of it then and what was really wrong with that picture. Even the teacher would say, “No, you gotta choose something else, that’s not possible.” And the kid would sit there thinking, “Why?” Now we can really say to kids, “You can be anything.’” Obama was that kid, and he changed it for us all.

How would you describe Obama’s swagger?

(Laughs) I saw some old pictures of him and Michelle, and he was holding a cigarette—I think his critics were trying to say it was a joint or something—but he was holding it with such swagger. It was amazing. He’s so cool. Even when he’s doing his speeches, he has an air of just coolness, of just his own grown-man, mature, metrosexual swag. He gets it in.

You’re a budding style idol yourself.  How would you describe your own swagger?

It’s very natural, it’s really not calculated.  If they bring a rack, then I pick what I like and that’s it. It’s always a mix of who I am and a more feminine style because I am a tomboy at heart. You know, I don’t love heels—I love the way they look, but I don’t love the way they feel. I do appreciate them for what they do for your whole demeanor, for a certain look. If I had to put it in a nutshell, I’m a great mix between very tomboy and very chic.

Do you have any plans for Inauguration Day?

Actually, I do have the day off and I have a show in D.C. the next day. So I’ll try to make it to the Inauguration. I’ll be one of the 5 million, hopefully, out there.

The “I Am Music” tour makes its next stop in Minneapolis, MN at the Target Center on January 19.

Invite-only parties can be a determination of popularity depending on what side of the offer you’re on. Also, coming up next week will be a Def Jam Battle Royale. With both Ludacris and Kanye West dropping “concept” albums, it will be the “mouf of the south” versus the “hip-hop’s reigning big moth.” Should be interesting…
