Is this art imitating life or life imitating art?  This Spring, designers and music artists have found inspiration in each other, and have gone futuristic.  Many exaggerated shoulders, metallic materials, pointy bras, space age and shine have been hitting the runways for ’09 (think Lady Gaga, Madonna in ‘Vogue’ or even Beyonce as a ‘Diva’).

I don’t know about ya’ll but I am personally LOVING Beyoncé’s robo-chic stylings lately. Style.com reports that Thierry Mugler will be designing all of her costumes for her upcoming tour. I am STOKED. I loved her in Gareth Pugh and even though Thierry the Muggle was making headlines last year for posing nude and suddenly hitting the spotlight with massive bulging (weirdo) muscles, I am SUCH A fan of what he does for the female physique. I think B’s undulating curvature will be awesome swathed in his stuff.
