Rapper/actor Mos Def will be dropping two collections with sportswear brand UNDRCRWN. The line will include tees, jackets and headwear.
“We took Mos Def’s DNA and applied it to ours. Many of the items incorporate the colors and cover print from the 2004 Dead Prez album Revolutionary But Gangsta, but also include personalization from Mos Def’s own life” said Dustin Canalin, Creative Director about the partnership.
Tees from the collection will retail for $30-$50; fitted hats for $40. The first half of the collection will be released Wednesday, March 18th 2009 and will be sold at select UNDRCRWN retailers and UNDRCRWN.com.
The clothing brand also has a collaboration with up-and-coming rapper Asher Roth.
