The New York Post Monkey Business

The New York Post ran this cartoon of a chimpanzee that was shot by the police. The policeman with the smoking gun is quoted as saying: “We’ll have to get someone else to write the next stimulus bill.” African Americans are outraged by the connection of the dead monkey to President Obama. The Post called the cartoon a parody. I don’t get the parody of a chimp that mauled it’s owner and the stimulus package. Here are some images that the cartoon conjured up in my mind. Parody, racism or insensitivity? You decide. Things that make you go hmmmmm.

Does the New York Post really need to go there ? The funny thing is that I saw more people upset with Eric Holder for calling this country a “Nation of cowards”….Hmm
i’m very upset.first of all obama is here and trying to clean up the hell of a mess the bush has left the world in.my personal opinion that just goes to show you that racism is still here and is present in everyday life.people just have to face it obama is here to stay.
God forgive them cause they know not what they do….people parish for their lack of knowledge……

Instead of getting mad, we should all be getting even. BOYCOTT NewsCorp and the Post! If we could organize millions just like we did during the Civil Rights Era, this is how we can make true change.
Why are people getting mad it clearly is directed to the stimulus bill. It dosen’t bother me or most of the people I know. Would we be saying it’s racist if someone else is in the white house?
History is the best teacher. This is nothing new. White folks & misguided Black folks have been doing nonsense like this for decades hell even centuries. When will we realize as “intelligent” Black people that racists & sellouts are going to continue to mislead the ma**es. Those of us with knowledge, wisdom & understanding have to educate our youth with the truth about ourselves as well as about our enemies-peace
Like Raiyne8469 states, If it were someone other than Obama in office then there would have been no outrage. Yet she may be a little out of touch. Like her profile is a parody to her reality, out of touch. You say you’re Married and in your profile you say you are ” Single ” and a switch hiter. Which way will the wind blow tomorrow, da I don’t know! If you are truly a ” sista “, then it affects all six feet of you as well as the rest of the Black population. If you are not, then why you on the planet..BlackPlanet that is. Maybe your next ” Post ” should be on the NY Times.
