Paul Labrecque is a hair visionary and entrepreneur. His newest Salon & Spa expansion in Manhattan has opened in the exclusive CORE: club. CORE is New York’s premier members-only lifestyle club in which Paul is extending his luxurious services to non-members as well. On a rainy Friday in the city I got a wonderful and gracious tour of the club and Spa from the manager Brian. Other Manhattan locations are in The Chatham and Reebok Sports Club.

The Salon & Spa offer a full menu of award winning treatments which comprise of haircuts, custom color, massage, mani/pedis, facials, a variety of men’s grooming services plus more. My 60 min full body massage by Claudia was absolutely amazing! One of the best I’ve had. I nearly melted into a puddle after leaving. The sleek and modern design aesthetics are that of CORE: with a bit of additional comfort and relaxation.

There’s a private women’s hair and nail salon, beautiful terrace, private lounge and fitness studio, as well as the Paul Labrecque Signature Apothecary. You truly get your own personal space while there. A stall for each client including shower, sink, robe, slippers and toiletries. The experience was definitely enjoyable.
