Nudity has always been a taboo topic for the American audience.
Even when done in a totally artistic, editorial perspective, images of nudity nonetheless provoke controversy and conversations of vulgarity. Most recently Love Magazine has continued its trend of creating buzz by using nude models in its spreads and on its covers.
The magazine has just published its third issue, featuring a slew of scantily clad, if not nude supermodels. Included in the spread are Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Lara Stone, Daria Werbowy, Natalia Vodianova, Amber Valletta, Kristen McMenamy, and Jeneil.
The feature is undoubtedly done with an artistically captivating flare, presenting the female figure in ways that are not necessarily overtly sexual or pornographic. Still, as long as art is open to interpretation, some people will see the nudity as distasteful.
Take a look at the spread and tell us, porn or art?
