Veteran R&B singer Usher is back on the scene with Monster. Wanting to deviate from “the old Usher” the gifted singer has enlisted the help of Neptunes frontman Pharrell Williams.
According to WIlliams the tracks are super-edgy and unexpected. “The Usher we once knew is gone. He’s somewhere else right now, like a whole different kind of R&B.”
His last album Here I Stand in 2008 was filled with a grown and sexy appeal. With a title like Monster and help from Pharrell the album will surely make for some great music. An official release date hasn’t been set but sources say the album could drop as early as October.
