Out today, March 31, 2009:
Flo Rida R.O.O.T.S.
Even the biggest haters have to he admit that Flo Rida knows how to make a hit. His single “Right Round” broke his previous record for digital downloads, so even if R.O.O.T.S. doesn’t do gangbuster numbers, he’ll still be able to get some more tattoos off of his ringtone raps alone.
Bow Wow New Jack City II
At 22-years-old and with his sixth studio album out today, it’s fair to call Bow Wow a veteran of the rap game. Though Shad’s dropped the “Lil’” from his moniker his raps still ring friendlier than the rest in his peer group, making New Jack CIty II an album to keep in rotation when the kids are over.
Chrisette Michele Ephiphany
On the heels of her critically acclaimed debut I Am, Grammy Award winning singer Chrisette Michele drops her sophomore album, Ephipany. One the record, the signer takes a more upbeat approach to her sound, crafting an album that’s a sonic fit for the spring season.
UGK 4 LIfe
Pour a little out: A post-humous Pimp C reunites with partner-in-rhyme Bun B for the last UGK album. Akon drops by a guest cameo and as expected, there’s a lot of syrup sipped.
