Last night Common appeared on Tavis Smiley’s PBS show to discuss Universal Mind Control, Chicago’s stable of talented artists and his budding acting career. He also went on a bit of an anti-techonology crusade, perhaps carry over of his fight against the machines in his new movie Terminator Salvation.

For all of you who have yet to hear, he confirms that he will not be starring in the new Green Lantern movie as previously rumored. He is however moving ahead with his next album which will feature pruduction by the usual Chi-Town suspects, Kanye West and No I.D.
