Despite dropping his debut album Asleep in the Bread Aisle (SRC/Universal) on 4/20 and it leaking on the Internet almost two weeks ago, rapper Asher Roth still managed to score the #1 record on iTunes.
Led by the anthem “I Love College” and the infectious “Lark On My Go Kart,” Asleep in the Bread Aisle marks the Roth’s official step into the rap world. He entered the scene in 2008 when along with DJ Drama and Don Cannon, he released the mixtape The Greenhouse Effect.
