What’s with all the hateful comments? She’s a charming girl. She really let her hair down and opened up about herself. That’s good. All ya’ll really mad about is her being beautiful and with a white boy. If Thicke was black, nobody would say isht. Why do so many people care about what she has to say as if it means the end of the black race? She’s one woman expressing herself about her life. She didn’t say anything deep or hving any racial ramifications. She found love with a high school sweetheart who had the balls to step to her and ask her out.
What she said about white people is true. I’ve had white friends step up on my behalf and get better results than I could not because they were more articulate but because they have more and credibility and clout with white authority. It’s just the way it is. I guess she got a little comfortable since she was being interviewed by an interracial brotha and knew he’d understand. The only thing she said that kind of bothered me was her saying she felt blacker around Robin because of how he acts but that’s because of their upbringing. He’s obviously been around alot of black folks when he was growing up though he was rich, he was always part of the music industry because his father was also a musician as well as an actor. Paula obviously grew up closer to her white heritage or at least around boojhi black folks. Can’t be mad about it. It is what it is. That’s how they grew up.
@colts30: You don’t know if she’ll be as good as Halle or not. Halle’s hasn’t done anything that’s been that incredible. Oh, right, she took her clothes off and had sex with a racist character. OSCAR TIME!! Nothing she hasn’t done several times in her movie career already but because she got buck naked and let Billy Bob do her on camera, she gets the statue. I think it’s an unfortunate cover title for Giant to use just because she’s biracial and beautiful.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton have to be one of the cutest couples. She seems like a real down to earth type of girl. I really don’t see what the problem is with the video, she seemed like she was having fun joking around. Looks like as usual people are blowing up over absolutely nothing. Whats the problem? Because she said white men don’t have to fear the law. MANY MANY comedians have made this same joke (i.e. Dave Chapelle). Get over yourselves!

I swear you people must be some of the most ignorant people I have ever encountered online or otherwise. Take all this built up hostility and focus that energy on comprehension and inference skills. Not once did this woman down black men and if you took her joking around with Smokey as insensitive, belittling or offensive you have some serious problems you need to deal with internally.
As for the men, it is jealousy, envy and hatred fueling you. What this woman does has nothing to do with you. She does not know nor is she thinking about you enough to try to bring you and others down. I suggest you loudmouth brothers STFU because we all know those who talk the most truly have nothing to brag about.

I think more than the idea that “men need to be tamed” is the opinion that many women need to be taught to simply shut the f**k up. I think she needed to marry a white man who would put up with THAT kind of attitude and need for control (yeah…I said it!).
