M.O.P To Release Three Albums
Given the way the economy is trending, this summer may prove to be the “hottest” one in a long time. Good thing Brooklyn’s M.O.P.’s dropping a new album so roaming stick-up kids will have music to bump while pulling jobs, snatching sneakers and taking the sprinkles off of donuts.
But what’s better than one new M.O.P. album? How about three.
That’s right. Allhiphop is reporting that Lil Fame and Billy Danz are planning on dropping a new album dubbed The Christening (E1 Records) on June 30 and then following up with two other LPs before the year is up.
Of course whether M.O.P. sticks to the plan is up for debate, especially when you consider the group’s last album was 2000’s Warriorz and the their 2005 signing to 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records proved as lucrative as 50 signing Olivia.
So we’ll just have to wait and see if their plans manifest.
