By now most of you know the bizarre NyQuil OD experience that Solange Knowles endured following last night’s Armani party. On paper it seems ridiculous especially when you consider she documented the real-time experience via twitter “I didn’t know NyQuil could do this to you” and “I feel so weird” etc…

Thankfully she ended up in good hands evidenced again by her twitter account, “Woaah…… How’d I end up in the hospital?”

OK, couple things wrong here.

God forbid but had Solange died, her tweets would’ve been akin to some horrifying viral snuff running commentary. Erykah’s updates about her birth? Weirdtresting. Maybe kinda cool. Bey’s little sister and MOTHER (don’t you forget she has a kid sometimes?) to her nephew passing to the next life in-flight? Weirdepressing as all hell.

Also, WTF is up with her clearly not shutting off her handheld during the flight? Granted the avionic interference for a teeny tiny 140-character blog post may be negligible but I swear to God if I go hurtling towards the ground mashed in a fireball of twisted metal because Solange had to TWEET I would be PISSED. And also a little dead. Unless Sully was steering and then I’d be good.

Also, and this part really is one of those cautionary tales that may not resonate whilst exposing how OLD I am but anybody remember Krissy Taylor? The 17-year-old sister of super(by some standards but not mine)model Niki Taylor? She DIED from misusing an asthma inhaler. Shit is scary.

So regardless of the irresistible dumb-ass factor of a famous person misusing over the counter drugs, lest we forget, these medications serve a purpose and you never know how one might just UP AND TRY TO KILL YOU so be careful. Even if you have 2.4 bajillion followers, twitter won’t save you.
