  The editor Mary HK Chio doesn’t have a clue or she’s just stupid or something. I agree with some of the other people on here. There is nothing wrong with Wayne’s interview or his eyes. Maybe editorials have been wack and she’s trying to get some attention focused on her stuff.

  i believe that maybe he shouldnt just throw around the word gansta like dat becuz sum ppl will just take it run wit it. but in the same breath i think the world is full of hater and ppl need to do less talking about him and focus more on their life cuz at the end of the day wayne handle his s**t. i think the interview was fine. “its other s**t going on in the world” I believe if ppl start focusin on the postive the world would be a far better place.BIG UPPS TO WAYNE. to me what he does in his daily day has nothing to do wit his music. so i say that to say i love your music and thats all that matters.

  i enjoyed the inteview and saw nothing wrong..When Lil Wayne referred tohis dad being dead in past songs I assume, since he wasnt in his life he is dead to him or maybe he’s talking about Birdman being his dad..I dont know..But he is bad and I enjoy his music..Great interview….

  Yo, to me Lil Wayne handled his self like a gangster and a gentleman. Like he said, he’s a gangster, that is the persona that you see in his eyes and personality. I don’t know what yall hatin ass niggaz from Black Planet are talking about,maybe yall would feel threatened by him giving you eye contact and showing you that he is more than just a thugg and keeping it a hun ed, or maybe yall think that he is suppossed to talk and act like “little wayne” and not wayne the grown man, and if he was to act loud and ubnoxious like a lot of these fake gangster’s than yall would still be talking s**t about him.   There was nothing wrong with his interview. People who need to criticize everything a person does are just unhappy people with nothing better to do than to pick on everybody else. He presented himself well. Get over hatin’ on him because he’s made a success of himself. We should be uplifting our own. Get rid of that slave mentality of beating our own people down!

  Here’s the problem:

  Lil Wayne is a entertainer (plain and simple) That’s who katie was interviewing, so of course she didn’t expect him to be intelligent or maybe she wouldn’t get the viewers.Personally, I don’t like lil wayne but that doesn’t say I don’t respect the young brother. I think most people are upset that he called himself a gangsta (or wannabe gangsta)You people have to realize that lil wayne and “dwayne michael carter” or totally different people on stage and off. I didn’t expect him to say anything intelligent. Society will judge him accordingly and from what I seen he’s making money,but because some people won’t put lil wayne and dwayne michael carter into different categories he’s up for alot of scrutiny from his critics.
