Trailer of the Week: The Limits of Control

Ghost Dog guru Jim Jarmusch returns with another film about a modern-day warrior who lives by his own rules.

Jim Jarmusch is cool for many reasons.  He lived in and made movies about the East Village before it was the hip thing to do; he’s got an awesome shock of white hair; his friends list includes RZA, Bill Murray and Tom Waits; and he made Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai, the movie that proved even Forest Whitaker can be an action hero.  After a four-year hiatus, Jarmusch is back with his latest feature, The Limits of Control, which casts French/African actor Isaach De Bankole as a Ghost Dog-like outlaw who has been dispatched to Spain to complete a mysterious assignment.  Murray co-stars in the film, along with Oscar-winner Tilda Swinton, Gael Garcia Bernal and John Hurt.  With a line-up like that, how can this movie be anything but…well, cool?
